Null Modem Serial Cable

After fiddling with serial connections more than I expected I would, I decided to buy a couple to have handy. The best price I found was from monoprice.com, for $2.60 a piece. Not bad!

If you do your own searching, the key works I found to work the best are "null modem serial cable" you can omit the quotes though.

I posted this to Slickdeals.net and was met with lukewarm responses. You can easily build a really inexpensive null modem cable by using two female to female rj45 ethernet to db9 adapters. I found these for only $0.25 from Centrix International. They have some awesome deals on random stuff like that.
